Ocean Server Upgrade October 17th, 2024 Release Notes

The Ocean server upgrade scheduled for the evening of October 17th, 2024 contains the following improvements and fixes.

Ocean will be intermittently unavailable between 10:00 - 11:00 PM EST while the upgrade is being deployed. To view all scheduled Ocean server upgrade dates, check out the Ocean Server Upgrade Schedule.

Provider Network

Improvements:

  • Migrated Ocean’s Health Report Manager functionality (only available to a pilot sites) to the Ontario Health One Access Gateway.

Fixed Bugs:

  • Fixed a bug in eReferrals & eConsult page where the “Referring clinician with name containing” search option did not show results for Received referrals.
  • Fixed bug affecting the eReferrals & eConsult 'Appt Date - Start' and 'Appt Date - End' filters.

Patient Engagement

Improvements:

  • OSCAR Pro users will now have default access to the Oscar Pro Attachment Manager.

    • OSCAR-based EMRs (e.g., Avaros) that integrate using the OSCAR Pro Cloud Connect module will now have to enable the ‘Enable Non-OSCAR Pro Compatibility’ feature within Cloud Connect to maintain current integration capabilities.

  • The 'Same-Day Appointment' feature now supports alternate configurations.

  • Added a button to the Health Messenger's 'Appointment Confirmation Redirect' to nudge patients to check their Messages and Forms.

Fixed Bugs:

  • Resolved bug that prevented EMR schedules from being sent to Online Booking when all the suggestion slots have been removed from the EMR. 

  • Fixed bug appearing in the Health Messenger 'Appointment Confirmation' page that was impacted by internationalization of the platform.

  • Fixed bug that caused extra characters to appear in the Online Booking Schedulable Summary page. 

  • Fixed an issue that caused Reminders to ignore provider restrictions due to timing interactions.

  • Fixed bug causing an additional "yes" text to be added to e-form encounter note with French locale.

Platform

Improvements:

  • Limited access release of new multi-lingual internationalization capabilities across the Ocean platform.
  • Integration names can now include up to 255 characters.
  • Added a new Admin > Integrations page option to specify "Data Integrations".
  • Added support for a new authentication requirement in the Accuro integration.
