The Ocean server upgrade scheduled for the evening of November 28th, 2024 contains the following improvements and fixes.
Ocean will be intermittently unavailable between 10:00 - 11:00 PM EST while the upgrade is being deployed. To view all scheduled Ocean server upgrade dates, check out the Ocean Server Upgrade Schedule.
Provider Network
Improvements:
- Central Intake users no longer have the ability to update unclaimed directory listings without approval. This privilege is limited to users with Trusted User status under a Regional Authority only.
- Listings that enable an API integration on a listing that already has active referrals can use a new bulk action feature in the Admin > Integrations page to have these active referrals sent via the integration.
Fixed Bugs:
- Fixed an issue causing the Healthmap to display an error when in test mode.
Patient Engagement
Improvements:
- A French/English language toggle has been added to the patient-facing Online Booking user interface.

The Health Messenger has a new menu to unlock patient actions, such as the ability to print and clear all messages.

A menu has been added to individual message cards to enable patients to copy and delete individual messages.
Platform
Improvements:
- Added the ability to setup and configure external clinical decision support integrations (HL7 CDS Hooks) in the Admin > Integrations page.
- Ocean will now display to the user 'Critical', 'Warning', and/or 'Informational' cards with content from the external CDS service as part of the Send eReferral flow.
- Added new copy to Section 7 of the Ocean end user licence agreement (EULA).
