Version 4.29 of the PS Suite Ocean custom form contains the following improvements:

• Safety checks have been added to prevent users from accidentally connecting two different EMR instances to the same Ocean site.
• The upcoming "ON eConsult" launch from the Ocean Toolbar is now supported with an enhancement to this form.
• Ocean patient upload times have been optimized, which slightly improves the Ocean launch speed.
• A minor bug fix to HTTP header encoding may prevent some rare errors when interacting with Ocean with unicode characters.

This version of the Ocean Attachment Exporter PS Suite custom form contains the following improvements:

• This version includes support for the new, enhanced virus-scanning capabilities on the Ocean server.
• Multimedia files attached to the PS Suite chart notes are now uploaded to Ocean as separate files, instead of being concatenated into a single PDF. This change allows users to include non-PDF image attachments from the chart, such as PNGs and JPGs, which are occasionally used by PS Suite instead of PDFs. The change also improves the import workflow for specialist sites that receive these attachments via an eReferral.

Version 4.26 of the PS Suite Ocean custom form contains the following improvements:

• Some formatting bug fixes have been included for PS Suite sites that use "structured addresses", particularly for the purpose of pre-populating the patient's address when sending eReferrals.

• The PSS pending test mappings have been updated to support new Ocean health service categories: breast ultrasound, obstetrical ultrasound, mammography and OBSP.

This version of the Ocean eReferral PS Suite custom form includes the following changes:

• A regression bug that prevented the embedded "Attach" button from showing the Ocean Attachment Exporter has been fixed. Users may also continue to use the "Attach" button in the Ocean Toolbar to achieve the same result.

Version 4.25 of the PS Suite Ocean custom form contains the following improvements:

• Minor changes have been made to the HTTPS connections to improve the reliability of the single sign-on to Ocean.
  A minor bug has been fixed that led some computers to continue pointing to Ocean sites that had previously been removed from the EMR instance.
• Networking and polling efficiency has been improved to reduce the Internet usage at the clinic.

Version 1.07 of the Incomplete Referral Form contains the following improvements:

• An issue that could lead the incomplete form to remove itself prematurely from the chart has been fixed.
• The form has a fall-back mechanism to proceed to open the incomplete referral (after a manual login) when the single sign-on fails.
• v1.06 was not publicly released.

This form, once installed, should be automatically inserted into Ocean-enabled PS Suite sites when a user clicks "Save for Later" after initiating an eReferral using Ocean. It provides a convenient link to re-open the eReferral draft.

This version of the Ocean Toolbar for PS Suite contains the following changes:

• The toolbar has a new link, "View in Ocean", which opens the patient's Ocean Dashboard in the web browser. The Ocean patient dashboard is a convenient location interacting with a patient's eReferrals, forms, and other Ocean features.

• The toolbar has a new "Outstanding" count item on the right side, highlighting the number of live Ocean eReferrals/eConsults for the current patient. Clicking on this count will open the Ocean Dashboard, where these items are accessible.
  • This quick link to the patient's eReferrals/eConsults will obviate the need for users to scroll through and locate "Ocean eReferral" custom forms in the chart for each individual eReferral/eConsult.

• Some items on the toolbar have been re-organized to make room for the :

  • The Add Form and Add Favourite buttons have been combined into a single button. Clicking this button allows users to search for forms or pick from a list of pre-defined favourites.

  • The patient's status on the tablet no longer shows on the root toolbar.

  • To view the patient's status and the patient's eForm queue, as before, users can click on the toolbar's Ocean logo into the toolbar to view it in the Ocean custom form popup.

• The toolbar has substantial network traffic optimizations that should lead to better response times, particularly at clinics with traffic-shaping routers, high Internet latency, or slow upload/download speeds.

The minimized Ocean toolbar provides the important background functionality needed by Cloud Connect (such as the processing of Ocean Temporary Notes into EMR field updates) without much appearance (two paralleled grey lines). This toolbar is a good option for sites with limited space in their charts and who prefer to access Ocean functionality using their own toolbar's shortcuts to the Ocean Custom Form.

This version of the Ocean eReferral PS Suite custom form includes the following changes:

• Two new buttons have been added:
  • Add PSS Pending Test/Consult - This button will add a pending test to the PSS chart to assist in tracking the referral. As before, sites may be configured to add pending tests automatically. However, this button can be used to add the pending test manually in the event that it is missing.
  • Add PSS Internal Message - This button will send the follow-up message ("yellow sticky") to the PSS chart to assist with the follow-up of the referral. As before, most sites are configured to add these PSS messages automatically for the eReferral. However, this button can be used to send the message manually in the event that it is missing.
• The final summary note, created after the eReferral is finished, has been updated to include more information when the eReferral was not finished in the usual manner (such as when it was declined or canceled).
• An additional safety check has been included to ensure the form cannot be inserted into the wrong patient chart.

This version of the Ocean Attachment Exporter PS Suite custom form contains the following improvements:

• A rare error that prevented certain patient charts from exporting attachments has been fixed.
• To assist with troubleshooting, the error messages shown to users when a chart export fails (due to corrupt EMR data) are now more descriptive.

Version 1.05 of the Incomplete Referral Form contains the following improvements:

• Fixed a bug that prevented the form from automatically removing itself from the chart in some circumstances after the eReferral has been sent or completed.
• Changed the wording of the follow-up message to say, "An eReferral for ___ was saved for later completion. Archive this message once it has been sent. (Automatic message)"

Version 4.22 of the PS Suite Ocean custom form contains the following improvements:

• Optimizations to the network communication with the Ocean server
• Compatibility improvements with new versions of PS Suite to prevent "NullPointer" errors
• The surname, first name, date of birth, health number and patient gender/sex is no longer automatically updated when it is already populated (a confirmation message is sent instead)
• The site name description can now be updated for EMR instances with multiple sites
• Ocean now prompts the user to ensure the correct Ocean source site is chosen when initiating a referral.
• The Ocean portal link has been updated to its new location (/ocean/portal.html)
• When importing an eReferral or web form submission, the form prompts the user to confirm demographic field changes for the DOB, first name, and surname
• Additional safety checks are included to prevent messages or changes from inserting in the wrong chart (as a result of the user changing the chart mid-download)
• The patient's appointments are uploaded with an optimized set of information, including the appointment ID, to prevent this information from conflicting with Cloud Connect's appointment synchronization. This change prevents a bug that sometimes resulted in duplicate appointments appearing in the Ocean Portal's day sheet.
• (The previous public release of this form was 4.08)

This version of the Ocean Toolbar for PS Suite contains the following changes:

• Certain unsupported "EMR Field" values set by Ocean were resulting in unwanted "yellow sticky" PSS messages that were telling PSS administrators to update these fields manually. These messages should no longer appear.
• Multiple Ocean sites, some with Cloud Connect enabled and some without, can now be connected to a single PSS instance, since this setting is now saved individually for each Ocean site.
• Ocean patient references that are 7 digits in length will now display without being cut off.

This version of the Ocean Attachment Exporter PS Suite custom form contains the following improvements:

• A rare "NullPointerException" error that prevented certain patient charts from exporting attachments has been fixed.
• Some PSS Clients were cutting off some printable area along the far-right margin of the attachment. The margins have been adjusted to accommodate these instances.
• Minor improvements to the error handling are included.

This version of the Ocean eReferral PS Suite custom form includes the following changes:

• The link to the Ocean potal has been updated to the new portal's address.
• The automatic message that stated, "An old custom form for 'Ocean eReferral' dated on ++ was removed from the chart. Please confirm that the requisition required no further action before you archive this message." has been removed. This message was a nuisance since it was causing significant confusion for users and was furthermore deemed to have no meaningful safety benefit.

• This version contains a workaround for a PS Suite issue that prevented the "Export to PDF" and PDF note printing functions from working with Ocean eReferral forms.

Version 1.04 of the Incomplete Referral Form contains the following improvements:

• Fixed a bug that prevented some sites from opening the Ocean Health Map using the Resume button on the form
• Fixed a bug that could prevent the follow-up message from attaching to the patient's chart.
• Added an "(Automatic Message)" clarifying statement to the follow-up message to reduce confusion as to the author of this message.

Version 1.02 of the Incomplete Referral Form contains the following improvements:

• The incomplete referral form will now automatically remove itself from the chart once it detects that the completed referral's note is present in the chart. 
• Single-sign-on support has been improved. The incomplete referral form should load more quickly and reliably after the Open button is clicked.
• Previously the Ocean Health Map page was opened as a redundant page as part of the single-sign-on process; now only the incomplete referral form page will open.

Version 4.08 of the PS Suite Ocean custom form contains the following improvements:

• The "Attach" feature using Ocean's Ocean Attachment Exporter form is now more reliable and user-friendly when accessed using this form or the Ocean Toolbar, due to miscellaneous enhancements involving the interaction of these two custom forms.
• A bug was fixed that sometimes prevented the from from uploading patients to Ocean when these patients had dozens of upcoming repeat appointments
• The patient's primary provider is now shown in the Ocean Patients tab when this new form (or Cloud Connect) is used to upload the patient
• Specific exclusions for automatic demographic updates have been included for some client sites

• Pending tests of the category "Miscellaneous Diagnostic Test" will now populate correctly with the specifically-associated pending test category when a new eReferral is downloaded to the chart (e.g. "Colonoscopy").
• An additional precautionary check is included that ensures all pending eReferral activity is conducted against the current patient chart (even when the chart changes in the midst of a network call)
• Removed some extra prompts for the shared encryption key when opening an existing eReferral

The Ocean Toolbar v5.24 for PS Suite contains the following changes:

• For CloudConnect clinics, this toolbar includes support for automatically setting additional demographics fields via the Ocean Temporary Note: the patient's suffix, Address 2 (residential address), chart number, and insurance number
• For CloudConnect clinics, this toolbar will automatically refresh the chart when the "Chart out of date" message is shown due to the recent upload of an Ocean note
• When a message is sent to the administrative staff for manual field updates, it now enforces a more intuitive sort order
• The Attach button will now open the Ocean Attachment Exporter form in a more user-friendly popup window

Version 2.02 of the Ocean Attachment Exporter PS Suite custom form contains the following improvements:

• If the user cancels at the file name prompt, the form will now automatically close and remove itself from the chart.
• The message prompt for the file name has been changed to say, "Specify a file name to include this chart attachment:"
• The form will now notify the Ocean Toolbar when the attachment upload is complete, which helps streamline the automatic flow where an attachment is selected and the Refer/Email button is clicked in the Ocean Toolbar. Ocean Toolbar v5.24 (in conjunction with this form) will proceed to open the Ocean webpage after the upload is complete.
• An error is now shown when the Ocean eReferral form is included as an attachment (since it fails to render and was causing problems for one client)

Version 4.07 of the PS Suite Ocean custom form contains the following improvements:

• Appointment times are now included when the patient is uploaded to the portal. (In older versions of the form, when used by newer versions of PSS, the time would be excluded, resulting in midnight displaying as the appointment time.)
• When sending a referral or emailing a secure message, this form gives the new attachment exporter form sufficient time to prompt for the file name before opening the browser window. (Previously the form would sometimes open the browser window immediately, prior to users specifying a file name, resulting in the attachment missing from the send dialog until the user returned to the EMR to complete this prompt.)
• Manual demographic field updates for hospital EHR sites are now listed in an order that more closely mirrors the layout of the PSS Patients window, in an effort to simplify manual entry.
• When the custom form is used to upload a patient, the member status is now uploaded as a textual description (e.g. "FHO Enrolled" instead of a number), consistent with CloudConnect.
• When uploading patients to Ocean using the custom form, some additional fields are now included in the upload to facilitate use of the Patients tab in the Ocean Portal:
  • The primary provider name is uploaded, which enables the Provider dropdown filter in the Find Patient area in the Patients tab.
  • Provider names are included with the patient's appointments, which results in the patient's provider name displaying in the day sheet in the Ocean Portal
  • The indexed surname is included, which allows users to quickly find patients via surname in the Find Patient area in the Patients tab.

• This major new version of the Ocean Attachment Exporter will upload attachments directly to Ocean, instead of exporting it as a file. Attachments are subsequently automatically included in Ocean secure message emails and eReferrals.
• This change will make the process of including attachments more convenient for users by obviating the need to drag-and-drop or select files on the user's desktop. It also helps protect patient privacy by eliminating the risk of leftover residual files on client machines.

Version 4.06 of the PS Suite Ocean custom form contains the following improvements. We recommend that any sites using eReferrals or sites using Ocean forms that pre-populate PSS custom forms upgrade to this latest version.

• When clicking on Email, a background check for any existing 'green bar' note selections was broken by newer versions of PS Suite, leading to an error message. This check has been changed to work around the PS Suite issue.
• A workaround has been added to fix a bug in newer versions of PS Suite that prevented custom form values from saving successfully (including Ocean eReferral custom form values)
• The form will now present an error message when it is inserted directly into the chart (since it should only be presented as a popup dialog using a toolbar or the View Form menu item in PS Suite)
• When clicking Import, a confirmation prompt is now presented to the user to ensure the correct chart is open

The Ocean Toolbar v5.23 for PS Suite contains the following changes:

• When clicking on Email or Refer, a background check for any existing 'green bar' note selections was broken by newer versions of PS Suite, leading to an error message. This check has been changed to work around the PS Suite issue.
• A workaround has been added to the toolbar to fix a bug in newer versions of PS Suite that prevented custom form values from saving successfully (including Ocean eReferral custom form values)
• When notes are selected, the toolbar now prompts the user whether he/she would like to include them as attachments.
• Additional safety checks have been added to prevent any possible latent patient updates from applying to the current chart when the window loads a different patient
• Miscellaneous minor bug fixes and stability improvements

• This release has a small change to work around a regression bug in recent versions of PS Suite. Older versions of the Ocean Attachment Exporter (and other custom forms) will report an error that says, 'no such function "getNoteWrappers"' when running within these newer versions of PS Suite. This release should work in both newer and older versions of PS Suite without generating this error.

• Manual importing the Ocean eReferral form is easier. It can now imported by inserting it into any chart with an existing eReferral note.
• Fixed a bug that could result in the eReferral follow-up message being assigned to the wrong chart in rare circumstances where the patient's chart is left immediately after opening a new referral.
• Fixed a bug that prevented the listing title from appearing when an eReferral is manually inserted in the chart
