Health Messenger Interface
- The Ocean Health Messenger interface that patients use to read or respond to any secure messages and/or eForms is available in 10 different languages.

- Patients can use the language selector in the top right corner to adjust their desired language at any time.
- If the preferred language configured in the patient's web browser settings is English or French, the Health Messenger will be displayed in the preferred language by default and only these two languages will be available in the language selector.

- If the patient’s browser is set to one of the other 8 supported languages (e.g., Spanish), the Health Messenger will appear in that language by default. The language selector will then offer three options: English, French, and the supported browser language.

- Ocean will remember the patient's preferred language the next time they access the Health Messenger.
If the preferred language configured in the patient's web browser settings is not one of the 10 supported languages, the Health Messenger will be displayed in English by default.
Ocean eForms
Recognizing that Ocean Sites may choose to translate their eForms themselves into languages beyond the 10 languages supported in the Health Messenger (e.g., Portuguese), the Health Messenger also offers an independent language selector specifically for the 'Forms' tab.
This selector allows patients to choose their preferred language to complete the form in (if available), regardless of the preferred language set in their web browser.
However, since the clinic has translated their eForm into Portuguese, the eForm is automatically displayed in Portuguese for the patient to complete.
