The Ocean server upgrade scheduled for the evening of January 22, 2026 contains the following improvements and fixes.

Improvements
- Introduced a new type of Externally Managed listing type that can be enabled by OceanMD for directory listings serving referrals sent via eFax (Ontario Health).
- Enhancement to ensure that patient records are correctly created or updated in the EMR when referrals are auto-accepted by an integrated decision support application.
Fixed Bugs
- Resolved an issue that could prevent certain actions from completing after accessing a referral from the Ocean Patient Summary.

- Fixed FHIR polling issues preventing consistent Patient Appointment data sync from the EMR using the Patient Engagement FHIR integration.
- Resolved an issue that could cause duplicate patient reminders during delayed EMR processing.

Improvements
- Sales tax on Ocean invoices is now calculated using the invoice's grand sub-total before tax, rather than item-by-item.
- Updates to ensure that Ocean user multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings are respected during SMART Launch login flows.
- Added a new "payment failed" invoice status to indicate when invoice payment failed.
