A bug has been identified that is blocking referral senders from completing referrals that are submitted in Ocean and then continued in external systems such as MedCurrent and Caredove. We have determined that the root cause of this issue is a security enhancement was included in the December 12, 2025 Ocean release that has blocked launches into external websites.
We will release a fix this evening to allow launches into external URLs.

December 17, 2025, 11:30 AM EST: We have confirmed that the fix released yesterday evening has restored the external system launch capability. Referral senders can now complete the referral in Caredove and MedCurrent.
