We have updated the list of IP addresses that Ocean may use to send referral events and notifications from our Production environment (ocean.cognisantmd.com). Previously, eReferral and/or Patient Engagement integration messages could originate from four IP addresses. We are adding a new fifth IP address: 15.222.201.88.
If you have one or more Ocean Sites in the Production environment and you manage network firewall rules that restrict inbound traffic to specific Ocean IPs, you will need to take action:
- You will need to add the new IP address (15.222.201.88) to your firewall's allowed IP list for inbound traffic
Please ensure any relevant network firewall rule updates are completed by June 19, 2025 in order to avoid missing referral events and other notifications from Ocean.
