Markable diagrams are currently available for eReferral form types only and must be enabled by an OceanMD employee.
Ocean supports the ability to include markable diagrams in eForms and include the diagram image as an attachment in a submitted eRequest.
When an eRequest is sent to or accepted by a Directory Listing that uses this functionality, the diagram image is considered to be an attachment within the eRequest and may be automatically imported to your integrated EMR.
Note: If your Ocean Site is not integrated with your EMR, the diagram image is automatically included in the manually downloadable eRequest PDF.
How does it appear in my EMR?
Sending an eRequest
If your 'Automatically Import Attachments to EMR' Cloud Connect setting is disabled, the diagram image will not be automatically imported into PS Suite.

Ocean-MA Extension: Task Category and Type Adjustments
- If you use the Ocean-MA Extension, it will automatically recognize upon opening the Task that it is related to an Ocean eRequest.
- The extension will automatically adjust the Task 'Category' and 'Type' values to correspond with the Ocean eRequest.
If your 'Save Sent Referrals as' Cloud Connect setting is set to 'Encounter Notes', the diagram image will not be automatically imported into Accuro.
Note: It is recommended that your Cloud Connect settings are configured to save sent and received referrals as Documents to ensure that any referral file attachments are automatically imported into Accuro.
By default, the Document Provider will be 'Unassigned'. However, automatic Document Provider assignment can be enabled in your Cloud Connect settings.

PS Suite with Cloud Connect Integration
If your 'Automatically Import Attachments to EMR' Cloud Connect setting is disabled, the diagram image will not be automatically imported into PS Suite.
PS Suite without Cloud Connect Integration
If your PS Suite EMR is not integrated using Cloud Connect, the diagram image will not be automatically imported into PS Suite.
- The diagram image will be imported into the Med Access chart as PDF attached to an Active Task.
