- When the 'Mark Patient Arrived' setting is enabled in your Ocean tablet/kiosk settings, Ocean will automatically update the respective appointment status in your EMR schedule with the value listed below at your chosen point in time.
Note: The value that Ocean applies to the appointment in the EMR is not customizable.
Note: If staff have already set the appointment to any of the following four statuses prior to Ocean attempting to update the status – Arrived, In Room, Ready, Finished – Ocean will skip setting the "mark as arrived" status, as it considered the patient to have already been seen and processed by front desk staff successfully.
If a background colour has been configured for the 'Checked In' status in your Med Access system settings, the colour of the appointment in the schedule will be updated. In the example screenshot here, the 'Checked In' status is associated with a white background colour.
The 'Arrived' icon can be customized in your Accuro system settings (Accuro Target -> Scheduler -> Scheduler Management -> Priorities, Reasons, Types -> Types). In the screenshot above, it is represented by a blue circle icon as an example.
If a background colour has been configured for status code 'H' in your OSCAR Pro system settings, the colour of the appointment in the schedule will be updated. In the example screenshot here, status code 'H' is associated with a green background colour.
