1. How do I manage my directory if I already have two listings (English and French)?
If your Ocean site currently maintains separate English and French directory listings, there is no direct impact from the bilingual release and no immediate action is required. Over time, we do recommend consolidating the listings for easier management and a cleaner provider experience. When consolidating, consider using the listing with the highest referral volume as your primary listing going forward. Please note that a directory listing cannot be deleted if there are active referrals associated with it.
2. Why are some areas still appearing in English?
Some elements within Ocean may continue to appear in English because provider-entered free text (e.g., notes, referral comments) is never translated, and certain Health Service Offerings may not yet be configured in French. This approach preserves the clinical meaning of referral information.
